One of my neighbours who also has been a dear friend to me for ages now (I guess relatively speaking it’d be “all of my life” for me and “ages” for him) died a while ago, too, and it really did destroy me for a while. But then I realised that the wine must be better up there and that he gave me a lot of his stuff as he was expecting to die ten years ago already. So,… yeah, I guess it was time.
