Participating in Blaugust 2021

It’s once again that time of year… Blaugust is here! What is Blaugust? It’s a challenge to blog each day during the month of August. Belghast started it a while ago, and continues the tradition again this year. You can find more information about Blaugust 2021 and sign up at Bel’s post here. I’m glad that I’m in a place where I feel able to participate again this year. I first participated back in 2015, and again in 2016. Blaugust went on hiatus for 2017, but returned for 2018, and I participated once again. 2019 was a stressful year for me, but I did participate, though to a lesser extent.

In 2020, Blaugust turned into Blapril. The reasoning being that 2020 had been a hell of a year, and Bel felt that maybe trying Blaugust in April instead to bring people together might ease some of the tension and anxiety at the start of the panini. I gladly hopped on board. Blaugust came back in 2020 as well, but in a different format—Blaugust Promptapalooza. It was a neat experiment, and I’d be willing to try something similar again sometime!

Anyway, all that to say that I will be readily participating in Blaugust again this year… and I even have the month planned out already. (Who am I? I’ve never done that before!) So, stay tuned for daily posts in August! Before and after, however, I plan to try and keep to 2-3 blog posts a week, focusing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
