Ding 60!
I finally did it! I hit 60! It’s felt like an absolute slog in some places, but that’s probably because I’ve been doing level 50-52 MSQs and dungeons as as a level 58 WHM. For now, though, it’s time to burn through the last of my rested XP while I work on gathering professions. I also picked up Dancer! Which I’m super excited about! But… I can’t really do anything with it until I get through Heavensward… *sad trombone* This is post 6/31 for Blaugust You can find out more and sign up over at Belghast’s post!

To the Crystal Tower
Labyrinths of the Ancients I am steadily making my way through the FFXIV MSQ in A Real Reborn, though I’m aggravated finding out that three quests away from Heavensward I have to do all of Crystal Tower. I mean, I’m okay with doing it, because it’s more story, but it was irksome to find out I actually had more quests to do than I thought I did. Labyrinth was my first time doing a raid in FFXIV, and I enjoyed the mechanics! I especially liked that I was able to just queue up and do it. I enjoyed the story through this point, though I still think NOAH is a…

Corpse Groom
WARNING: Possible spoilers ahead! I don’t have much to say about this quest-line for Tam-Tara (Hard) except that it fucked me up. In a good way, though. It was… intense! I remember seeing Edda and encouraging the group of them to go be adventurers. And then I remember finding out that one of them died. And it was sad, but then completely forgotten in the rush of the never-ending MSQ. But man oh man. Tam-Tara (Hard) with all of the journal entries littered about the dungeon? I felt lucky to go in with a group of fellow first-timers, and we all stopped to read them, and discuss them in chat…

TBR Stack August 2021
Why a TBR Stack? I’ve never done a post like this before, and I think it’d be fun to go over what’s currently in my reading stack for the month. I know I’m most likely not going to get to every single book on the list. I’m not sure how it’ll look in future posts, but I really wanted to talk a smidge about all the books I’m looking forward to trying this month. Reading is something that’s become enjoyable to me again in the past year or so, and because I’m feeling passionate about it, I figured why not share? Library Run These are the books I plan on…

Back to Streaming This Week!
I’m not offline for much longer (I had to push it due to life)! My goal for this month is to stream at least once a week on Saturdays, and to have a flex day of Thursday evenings when I’m up to it. I’m still working day job and creating adult content while getting back into streaming, so I’m trying to pace myself and take it slow, but also work towards consistent dates rather than picking something that may fit my schedule at the start of the week, but not work by the time the date I set comes around. Anyway, all that to say, you can find me on…

Welcome to Blaugust 2021
Time for Blaugust! Welcome to the start of Blaugust! This week, August 1-7, has been deemed “Welcome to Blaugust Week”, and is defined by Bel as follows. The idea behind this week is to give folks time to spread their wings and get used to that daily blogging idea. For the Veteran bloggers, it is a great time to make a few posts related to helping New bloggers get started. These could be tips or tricks or just discussions about what helps you get started. Additionally it is a great time to get connected to the Blaugust Discord and meet the community as a whole. I’m going to try to…

Currently Nerding, July 2021
Dead by Daylight Right now, Dead by Daylight is just really my go-to game on weekdays. It’s great for end-of-night gaming so I can intersperse chores and content creation tasks in between matches in a variety of ways. I mainly either do a match then walk away to handle a chore, or do things while I’m sitting in queues. It depends on the time of night, and if there are any events going on. Until they implement MMR, anyway. Queues seemed to be fairly quick during the MMR test they did a few months ago. FFXIV I’m really enjoying the story! I’m having fun working my way through all the…

Participating in Blaugust 2021
It’s once again that time of year… Blaugust is here! What is Blaugust? It’s a challenge to blog each day during the month of August. Belghast started it a while ago, and continues the tradition again this year. You can find more information about Blaugust 2021 and sign up at Bel’s post here. You can also find out more about the years of Blaugust on the Media Kit page which includes old logos, awards, and announcements. I’m glad that I’m in a place where I feel able to participate again this year. I first participated back in 2015, and again in 2016. Blaugust went on hiatus for 2017, but returned…

DBD Anniversary Crowns, Get!
I did it! I got all of the Survivor and Killer crowns for Dead by Daylight’s 5th Anniversary celebration! It was a bit tougher than I expected. Not only due to killers being jerks to survivors, but also for the fact that I just… couldn’t remember what characters were licensed or original. Not all of them mind. Just I sometimes forget that Jane Romero or The Trickster aren’t actually licensed characters. Or I forget that The Pig and Bill Overbeck are actually licensed characters. It’s a thing. I did end up creating some quick tables in my journal—one for killers, and one for survivors. I listed out four columns: Licensed, Non-licensed,…

Vibing in FFXIV
Unlocks Galore Note to self… don’t wait so damn long to unlock stuff now that you understand it! I’ve spent a lot of time so far unlocking classes, logs, mini-games, dungeons… I honestly didn’t realize I had so much sitting there in just base game(ish…) waiting for me to pick it up. I don’t want to run into the same in the expansions, so I’m going to make a concerted effort to unlock things as I go. I’m excited, however, because I’m closing in on level 60 (still in base game) and I’m so close to unlocking almost every job! All I have left are things specifically found in Ishgard:…
