Gaming Goals Review: October
This post is a part of #IntPiPoMo! You can find out more, and sign up at this link. I started this back in June 2015, and have been keeping up with it this past month. But, we’ll see in a moment. #IntPiPoMo 5/50 – What did the cards hold for October? WildStar Goals Chestnut Collect some more mini-pets Reach max reputation in Crimson Badlands (& last bit of Northern Wastes) Work towards completing my AMP (55) and AP (48) points Put up recorded Yardcore Complete all achievements in Celestion Start getting…

This post is a part of #IntPiPoMo! You can find out more, and sign up at this link.Head’s Up! If you haven’t finished The Secret World’s 2012 Samhain content, there will be spoilers in this post. B’ware! Because, really, the story is amazing and you should be playing it through! Anyways, the other night, we grabbed a fourth friend and worked for a bit on the Samhain 2012 quests in The Secret World. We spent a very large chunk of time running around to zones Chaide and I have yet to experience (we’ve only just arrived in the Blue Mountains) to pick up herbs and such to craft a specific herb…

Gaming Goals: October
I’ve been enjoying putting together this gaming goals thing I decided to try out in June. It’s helped me focus my time and come up with blog posts. Life has definitely kept me busy as of late, especially since I’ve been focusing a bit more on some real-life activities. Like concerts (Chaide and I’re going to both a Meg Myers and Rasputina concerts this month!), festivals (bluegrass and chili, here I come!), and non-computer gaming (D&D campaign run by Chaide, and a local Mind’s Eye Theatre Vampire LARP). Plus the holidays are coming. It starts with Halloween and doesn’t end until New Years! So, here’s what I hope to achieve during October,…

Gaming Goals: September
I’ve been enjoying putting together this gaming goals thing I decided to try out in June. It’s helped me focus my time and come up with blog posts. Just like in July, August had a lot of real life stuff, so I once again cut down on my goals some more. Or rather, I put in more goals that are things I really want to do and will keep me logging into various games. So, without further ado, my gaming goals for September (albeit a tad late)! WildStar Goals Chestnut Do some more contracts in general (PvP and/or PvE) Reach max reputation in either Crimson Badlands or Northern Wastes Work on completing my…

Gaming Goals Review: August
I started this back in June 2015, and have been keeping up with it this past month. I had reduced my goals for July because I knew that we would have limited play time as we had ten days of vacation time, as well as getting ready to move on August 1st. So, let’s see if tuning down my goals made them easier to accomplish! Goals: Relax and game! WildStar Goals Chestnut Reach the max tier of the PvP contracts for the first time ever Reach max reputation in Crimson Badlands Reach max rep in Northern Wastes Complete my AMP (55) and AP (48) points Put up Yardcore Nexus twice once for the…

The Park
This is post 23 of 31 for the Blaugust event. To check out more Blaugust posts and sign up to participate, visit the Blaugust Nook! If you haven’t heard by now, Funcom is releasing a new single player horror game called The Park. Aywren, Gryph, and Syp have all wrote great pieces about it, so go check out their thoughts! Horror games (and movies) are a genre that, until recently, were not something I was into. Honestly, I’m still not too fond of them. However, since I’ve fallen in love with The Secret World, I’m more open to trying horror and indie games from the Developers who have worked/are working with the team.…
